Speaker fees: what does a keynote speaker cost?

Most speakers don’t publish their fees, which makes budgeting harder than it should be. This page is the honest version: what speakers actually charge at each level, what the fee includes, what sits on top of it, and how to get the strongest name your budget allows.

Kruger Cowne represents over 870 speakers across business, sport, entertainment, exploration and current affairs, with fees running from under £5,000 to over £100,000. Because we book directly with every speaker on our roster, the fee you are quoted is the fee agreed with the speaker — no layers in between.

Kruger Cowne Keynote Speakers FAQs

How much does it cost to hire a keynote speaker?
Anywhere from under £5,000 for a rising expert to over £100,000 for a global name. Most corporate bookings land between £5,000 and £25,000. The sections above show exactly what each budget buys.
Because the figure moves with the date, location, format and length of the engagement. A published flat rate would be wrong more often than right. We quote a confirmed fee for your specific date before anything is agreed.
Sometimes, particularly for charitable events, off-peak dates or multi-booking arrangements. It is always worth telling us the real budget — we would rather find a way to make a name fit than send you names you can’t afford.
Book off-peak, book early, and consider a virtual appearance, which is usually quoted below the in-person fee. Some headline names also take a small number of reduced-fee engagements each year for causes they support.
Travel and accommodation at cost, plus anything beyond the talk itself: filming rights, meet-and-greets, panels or additional sessions on the day. Everything is itemised in the contract before you commit.
Send an enquiry with your date, location and budget. We confirm availability with the speaker, hold the date and issue a contract. Nothing is committed until you have approved the terms.
