Alison Cork MBE is a British lifestyle entrepreneur, author, broadcaster and passionate advocate for female entrepreneurship. In 2023, she was awarded an MBE for services to female entrepreneurship, recognising her longstanding commitment to supporting and empowering women in business.
Most recently, Alison Cork published Fit & Fabulous Over 50: How to Rewire Your Second Act, sharing the transformative health and wellness principles that helped her embrace a vibrant and energised new chapter in life. The book reflects her belief that wellbeing is the foundation for living fully and confidently at every stage of life.
Before this, Alison built and ran several successful lifestyle businesses. Her original Home In The Country television series in the 1990s тАУ filmed in her own cottage in Wales тАУ celebrated the art of creating a beautiful home life through food, interior styling and a connection with nature. That philosophy continues to underpin her work today, with lifestyle and health remaining central themes throughout her career.
Alongside her entrepreneurial ventures, Alison Cork has dedicated herself to inspiring the next generation of founders. She established the not-for-profit organisations Make It Your Business in 2017 and National WomenтАЩs Enterprise Week in 2023 to champion and support female entrepreneurs across the UK.
She also serves as an Ambassador for the British Library Business & IP Centre and sits on the advisory councils of the British Library, The Jobs Foundation and The Entrepreneurs Network.
In April 2026, Alison launched her latest food venture, LEKA LEKA, a healthy snack brand available online and in Kauai Caf├йs located within Virgin Active gyms.
