Diane Farr

Diane Farr is an award-winning actress, two-time New York Times bestselling author, and Altadena resident who brings real-life experience to her role on CBS’s hit drama Fire Country.

When the LA Eaton Fire threatened her home, she documented it firsthand, giving her a powerful perspective on the wildfire crisis.

Now, as Fire Country heads toward its season finale, Diane is using her platform to advocate for stronger wildfire protection and to honor the real heroes on the front lines — including CAL FIRE and incarcerated firefighters.

A former Rescue Me star and now a director on Fire Country, she’s uniquely positioned to highlight the human stories behind the flames. Beyond acting, her sharp, honest writing in The New York Times, Glamour, and Esquire has made her a respected voice on resilience and representation.
