Mack Rutherford is a young Belgian-British record-breaking pilot who made global headlines after successfully flying around the world solo in 2022. MackтАЩs journey started on March 16th, and he landed back at his starting point in Sofia, Bulgaria, 5 months later.
Since he was three, all Mack Rutherford wanted was to be a pilot. As a child, he flew regularly with his family, who are also all pilots. Eventually, Mack qualified for his pilotтАЩs license in September 2020, at the age of 15 years and two months.
At the time, that made Mack the youngest licensed pilot in the world. MackтАЩs goal is to show young people that they can pursue their dreams and achieve amazing things. It might not be easy or smooth sailing, but with grit and perseverance chances of success are on your side.
