Paul Christensen has a 360-degree view of what it takes to build, scale and exit technology companies. Over 25+ years, he has worked as a founder, CEO, investor, buyer and seller across AI, fintech and regulated markets. He is Co-founder and Exec Chair of Previse, an AI-driven B2B payments company whose technology has been licensed to global financial institutions.
Earlier in his career, Paul was Global Co-Head of Fintech and Strategic Investments at Goldman Sachs, where he managed a $1bn portfolio of 55 investments and led key board relationships including IHS Markit and Tradeweb.
Paul Christensen has board experience across companies from inception through to IPO and major acquisitions, including IHS Markit, Tradeweb and a range of market infrastructure and technology businesses. He brings particular expertise in growth strategy, distribution, partnerships, regulated-market scale-up, and the practical application of AI.
Alongside his commercial work, Paul has taught for many years at London Business School and is Course Director for Fintech Strategy: A Playbook from the Experts. He is also co-author of How Fintech Founders Win, to be published by Bloomsbury in November 2026.
