About Paul Rosolie

Paul Rosolie is the Author of New York Times Best Seller тАЬJunglekeeper: What it takes to Change the WorldтАЭ.

He is an Author, Conservationist, Explorer and Founder of Junglekeepers.

When he first set foot in the jungle, Paul Rosolie was a dyslexic kid from Brooklyn who struggled to graduate from high school but had an undeniable calling to the outdoors. He met the indigenous naturalist Juan Julio Durand, and together, they created Junglekeepers, an organisation that has found a way to halt deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest raising $15,000,000 to protect more than 150,000 acres тАУ inspiring millions along the way through books, film and social media. But this work takes grit, and years in, Rosolie and Durand are past their тАЬbarefoot machete days,тАЭ grappling with chain saws, massive fires, illegal miners, and the worst of humanity.

Paul has spent over two decades immersed in tropical rainforests across the Amazon, Borneo, India and Brazil, documenting wildlife, uncovering hidden ecosystems and confronting the realities of environmental destruction. His work has taken him deep into the rainforest, where he has travelled alongside poachers to expose the illegal wildlife trade, lived with wild elephants, researched giant anacondas, and explored previously undocumented ecosystems.

As a filmmaker, his work has been internationally recognised, with An Unseen World winning the UN Forum on Forests Short Film Award and being described as тАЬnature filmmaking at its most raw and innovativeтАЭ. As an author, his acclaimed book Mother of God has been praised by leading voices including Jane Goodall, Bear Grylls and Bill McKibben for its gripping and inspiring storytelling.

His New Book Junglekeeper (Penguin Random House 2026) at its core, explores the profound power of saying yes тАФ yes to oneтАЩs calling, yes to pursuing a dream even when it comes at great personal cost, and yes to taking a stand to protect what could otherwise be lost within a generation. It is a story of calling, connectedness and hope. Jane Goodall wrote тАЬOn behalf of the forests that I love, thank you, Paul, for writing this book.тАЭ

Paul Rosolie specialises in expeditionary wilderness, motivational education, following your calling, team building, innovative conservation strategy and has co-authored numerous scientific articles on tropical biodiversity. Through his work, he offers rare, first-hand insight into one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet, including powerful accounts of encounters with uncontacted tribes such as the Mashco Piro.

His experiences bring audiences face-to-face with both the beauty and fragility of the natural world, as well as the human impact shaping its future.
