As chairperson of Joint US-China Collaboration on Clean Energy, Peggy Liu has been at the heart of the greening of China over the last decade, leading systemic change across China in sustainable cities, sustainable consumerism, energy-efficient lighting and smart grid.

Peggy Liu consults companies and governments on sustainability and cross-cultural collaboration. Her programmatic focus today, “Food Heroes” play-based education for young kids, improves both personal and planetary health by changing food choices towards plant-based, low-impact diets. Food education is the singular acupressure point that achieves all 17 Global Goals.

She served as an executive advisor to Marks & Spencer, a sustainability advisor to HP, a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders, Global Agenda Councils on Sustainable Consumption and on New Energy Architecture, and an energy adviser to the Clinton Global Initiative. Prior to JUCCCE she was an early-stage venture capitalist in Shanghai.

In the 1990’s Peggy founded one of the earliest e-commerce companies in Silicon Valley and was a consultant at McKinsey.
