Carl Donnelly
Carl started performing stand up in 2005 and quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians. "The show breezes by, and feels a lot like a big fit of the giggles; his knack for storytelling and physical expression are a killer combo. Chuck in his throwaway remarks and the constant banter, and there’s a ludicrously funny hour here. It’s effortless and utterly captivating."
Vonny Moyes, The Skinny
"Donnelly has developed a style that is the antithesis of the loud, sweaty, manic comic so prevalent on the telly and live tours at the moment. This is stand up with valium: near horizontal levels of louche that take the mundane stories of everyday life and turns them into stretches of self deprecating silliness."
The Guardian
"Excellent, fast-rising comic with pacy anecdotal routines."
