Akala is a BAFTA and MOBO award winning artist, writer, historian, social entrepreneur and founder of The Hip-hop Shakespeare Company. His recent pronouncements during the election had a profound and contributory effect on the outcome of the election as well as his recent electrifying call to action which will serve to focus the remit of the Grenfell Tower fire investigation.  Akala has become a regular and respected media commentator, as well as the host of many compelling lectures and seminars. Akala will be speaking on the artsculture, race, literaturepolitics, youth engagement and social justice issues.

Sharmadean Reid MBE is a former fashion stylist and brand consultant who founded hip hop magazine WAH while still at university. With the unveiling of WAH Nails in 2009, Sharmadean redefined the beauty landscape with its powerful female millennial voice. And in 2015 these qualities and her services to Beauty were recognised when she was awarded an MBE. With a view to identifying and empowering the next generation of female CEOs, Sharmadean launched FutureGirlCorp which helps leaders create long term wealth and economic empowerment. In 2016 Sharmadean launched a dreamy salon in Soho showcasing a brilliantly innovative VR Nail Design app which enhances the user experience whilst improving gross margins and is passionate about using technology to help streamline the beauty experience. She will be speaking on such topics as women in business, branding, engaging a millennial audiencetechnology and innovation.
