Both self-taught design icons, Roland and Tom will discussed the business of design, how they made their creative passions financial success and how to inspire a new generation of talent.

Celebrating over 22 years Roland Mouret is best known for his iconic dresses – known by a single name – Galaxy, Moon, Titanium and Pigalle – yet the designer is celebrated among his clients for separates, specifically tops that flatter and beautifully fitted trousers, keeping things modern for women’s complex lives. His sharp tailoring and precise fit have earned him the title ‘Master of the Silhouette’, attributed to his ability to create a second-skin, or modern armour, to empower women. The brand, relaunched in 2006 in partnership with Simon Fuller’s XIX entertainment, is sold in over 40 countries, in the best multi brand boutiques and department stores in the world.

Internationally renowned British Designer Tom Dixon (OBE) is Creative Director of eponymous brand Tom Dixon (est. 2002). His works are included in permanent collections at the world’s most prestigious museums, including the V&A and the MoMA. Tom Dixon has built his universe through intensely diverse experiences, from music, contemporary lighting, furniture and accessories to high profile projects including Sea Containers (London), Alto (Hong Kong), Himitsu (Atlanta), Le Drugstore (Paris), Pullman Hotel (Berey, Paris), The Manzoni Restaurant (Milan) and a new HQ and restaurant in London called The Coal Office.
