Henry Porter
Henry Porter is a renowned writer and journalist specialising in liberty and civil rights.
Until 2018, he was the UK editor of Vanity Fair, a role he first took up in 1992. Prior to that, he was the executive editor of The Independent on Sunday. Throughout his career, he held a number of positions in journalism in publications such as The Observer, The Sunday Times, The Hive and more.
He is also an award-winning thriller novelist. His thriller about the Fall of the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg, was awarded the Ian Fleming Steel Dagger for the Best Thriller.
In 2021 he published his latest title The Old Enemy.
Henry co-founded The Convention on Modern Liberty which hosted over 100 speakers.
