Jan Ravens
Jan is best known for impersonating countless celebrities and public figures. She is currently recording Dead Ringers for BBC Radio 4. She has been seen in Hebburn for BBC2 and Big Bad World for Objective directed by Sandy Johnson.
Recent stage work includes The Intervention with The Comedians Theatre Company at the Edinburgh Festival and 5@50 directed by Braham Murray at The Royal Exchange Manchester. She appeared in a national tour of her one woman show A Funny Look At Impressions. Her TV credits include Skins; Love Soup; Midsomer Murders and she appeared as Janet Grimley in the comedy series The Grimleys for ITV. Theatre credits include the The Children’s Hour, directed by Sarah Frankcom, for the Royal Exchange; RSC, Chichester and Birmingham Rep.
Jan is also well known for her appearance in the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and has also won Celebrity Mastermind. She was the first female president of The Cambridge Footlights and has been a panelist on BBC’s Question Time.
