In 2010, he published a book called The Business Playground: Where Creativity and Commerce Collide, on which he collaborated with Dave Stewart (of the Eurythmics).  The book has received huge praise, with the forward written by Sir Richard Branson, who said: ‘Their mix of insights about creativity, revealing examples, anecdotes, interviews with creative thinkers, and games make for an entertaining and informative read. If you get half as much out of this book as I did, you’re in for quite a treat’.

Following the huge success of the book, Simmons launched a multimedia app for the iPad called Creativity, which was designed with the purpose of helping users unleash their creativity.
