Sir Bob Geldof – Honoured For Providing A Voice To The Voiceless

On Saturday 28th April Sir Bob Geldof was honoured with the mega MPAC Lifetime Achievement Award in Hollywood. It was presented to him in recognition of his dedication to providing a voice to the voiceless of the world and notably for his recent protests over the atrocities being imposed on the Rohingya people.
Here’s a small extract from Sir Bob’s poignant speech.
“It is not because the Rohingya people are Muslims that I made my feeble protest. It is not because they are either Muslims or Rohingya. I don’t care what they believe or how they identify. I care only that they are human beings who are being killed, raped, tortured and removed because of difference.”
